| From the Long Island Expressway |
Take the LIE to NY Route 112 North (Exit 64 North).
Proceed North on Route 112. Cross over Route 25 & Route 347. Continue on Route 112/25A (Main Street past the Railroad Station, down hill and into the Village of Port Jefferson.
Turn right onto East Main Street and proceed to Thompson Street. The Library is on the corner. The Young Adult Center is located across East Main Street. |

| From western Long Island drive east on 25A from Smithtown through Stony Brook and Setauket to Port Jefferson Village. From western Long Island take Northern State Parkway to Veteran's Memorial Highway. Drive East to Route 347 (Nesconset Highway). Proceed on Route 347 to Route 112. Turn left and proceed to Port Jefferson Village to Library. From Eastern Long Island take Route 25 to Route 112. Turn right onto Route 112 and proceed North to Port Jefferson Village. |
